Le centre de documentation du CRIM (Centre de Recherche Informatique de Montréal) fait don d’un ensemble d’ouvrages pour la bibliothèque de l’ESI (http://www.esi.dz/). Il s’agit de livres, actes de conférence et revues de recherche dans de nombreux domaines de l’informatique : programmation, réseaux, traitement d’image et de la parole, génie logiciel, intelligence artificielle, etc. Ils feront, sans aucun doute, le bonheur de nombreux étudiant(e)s et chercheur(e)s en Algérie.
Cette opération est pris en charge par d’anciens de l’ESI et autres universités algériennes, quant à sa logistique et le financement du port jusqu’en Algérie.
L’ETIC (Association des étudiants de l’ESI /http://www.etic-club.com/) est également partenaire dans cette opération. En effet, des volontaires de l’association s’activent intensément afin d’assurer l’arrivée des ouvrages à bon port, en s’occupant des procédures administratives et la réception des ouvrages à l’aéroport d’Alger.
Un grand remerciement à tout ce beau monde, que ceux et celles qui bénéficieront de ces livres ne manqueront pas d’exprimer.
Afin d’assurer le financement de cette opération. Une levée de fond est organisée. L’objectif est de collecter 1000$
Dans le cas d’un surplus, il sera utilisé dans une opération similaire. En effet, si l’opération fonctionne bien, on pourra continuer à collecter des livres et faire un envoi chaque année, par exemple.
